Infant Program

Cedar Grove Cemetery stands ready to assist all faculty and staff members as well as graduate and undergraduate students who lose a child through miscarrage and stillbirth or death in early infancy. 

We are able to offer all of our services free of charge through the generosity of donors and those who participate in our wreath, flag, and candle programs. At no cost to families, we provide the burial space in our infant section, the vault (to hold the container or casket the remains are brought in), the burial service, and a simple headstone. Additionally, use of All Souls Chapel for Mass is included, if desired. 

We can also make referrals to local funeral homes that provide their services for free. Families may also wish to avail themselves of the ministries of the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend for counseling, support, and assistance.
